About the Company:
Juniper Green Energy is an independent renewable energy power producer and operator of solar, wind and hybrid power projects with significant experience in conceptualizing, building, and developing renewable energy assets. The company is part of the AT Group which has an asset portfolio worth of approximately US$2.5 billion with global investments in renewable energy, residential & commercial real estate, hospitality etc. The Group has been building utility scale renewable energy projects in India since 2010 and built and owned Orange Renewable, a 1GW renewable energy platform in the past.
Juniper Green Energy, based out of Delhi NCR, commenced operations in October 2018. The business has experienced rapid growth, and it presently has an operational portfolio of about 1GW with an under-construction capacity of 2 GW and a development pipeline of close to 5 GW of solar, wind and hybrid projects. The company has end-to-end internal competencies in EPC and O&M services for its renewable projects.
Job Summary:
The candidate will oversee and manage the entire lifecycle of bidding and tendering for renewable energy projects, ensuring compliance with all requirements, timely submission of documents, and smooth coordination with internal and external teams. The individual will also be responsible for market intelligence and ensuring compliance with LOA and other post-bid milestones.
Key Responsibilities:
- Tendering & Bid Management : Manage the end-to-end process of tendering and bid management for renewable energy projects.
- Stay updated on upcoming tenders, keeping track of bid schedules, deadlines, and submissions.
- Prepare comprehensive bid summaries and identify key areas for clarification in the RFS (Request for Selection) documents.
- Coordinate the submission of queries to tendering authorities and represent the organization in pre-bid meetings to clarify doubts and concerns.
- Preparation & Submission of Bid Documents : Collaborate with internal stakeholders (finance, technical, legal) and external consultants to gather inputs for bid documents.
- Ensure the preparation of accurate, competitive, and compliant bid documents for submission.
- Handle both online and offline submission of bids while ensuring adherence to deadlines and guidelines.
- Act as the point of contact between internal teams (business development, legal, technical, finance) for the preparation and submission of bids.
- Track all bid-related updates and maintain a repository of communications for future reference.
- Market Intelligence & Competitor Analysis: Perform market intelligence by monitoring competitors, tracking other bidders, and identifying trends in bid pricing and strategies.
- Post-Bid Compliance : Manage post-bid compliance activities, including submission of all relevant documents to meet LOA (Letter of Award) conditions.
- Ensure that the Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) and Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) documents are submitted and signed in a timely manner.
- Ensure the timely compliance of project milestones such as Financial Closure (FC) and other key project deliverables.
- Manage ongoing communications with relevant authorities and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth progression of the project.
Qualifications and Skills:
- BE /BTech in Electrical / Electronics/ Mechanical/ Civil and/or MBA
- Renewable Energy Business Development or tendering Experience 2-7 years
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
