Job Description: IT Service Sales Specialist


Position Overview: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Service Sales Specialist to join our dynamic sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving sales growth by identifying and securing new business opportunities and building strong relationships with clients. This role requires a deep understanding of IT services, strong sales acumen, and excellent communication and negotiation skills.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve and exceed revenue targets.
  • Identify and prospect potential clients in the IT services market.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and new clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Conduct product presentations, demos, and proposals to clients.
  • Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate and efficient solution delivery.
  • Prepare and deliver persuasive sales pitches and proposals that highlight the company’s value propositions.
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain thorough knowledge of industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments.
  • Track and report sales metrics and pipeline status using CRM tools.
  • Provide ongoing support and follow-up with clients to ensure successful implementation and long-term customer relationships.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in IT service sales or a similar sales role, with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of IT services such as software development, managed services, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT consulting.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think strategically.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales reporting tools.
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and business development.


Preferred Skills:

  • Experience selling IT solutions to mid-sized or large enterprises.
  • Knowledge of current industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Strong network within the IT industry.
