Job Description

Roles & Responsibilities

You will turn experienced underwriting know-how into training, playbooks, and quality standards that enable community reviewers ("anchors") to

(1) learn the basics of retail/home-loan underwriting, and

(2) curate and correct AI model responses with high accuracy. You'll design curricula, run bootcamps, calibrate reviewers, and feed structured feedback to data and model teams so the AI improves quickly and safely.

Responsibilities

  • Teach underwriting basics to non-specialists: FOIR/DTI, LTV, income stability, bureau interpretation, documentation hygiene, fraud red flags, policy exceptions.
    • Train anchors to curate AI outputs: review model responses/rationales, apply rules, correct decisions, add reason codes, and document edge cases.
      • Design micro-curricula & SOPs: short modules (30–60 min) with examples, quizzes, checklists, and local-language handouts.
        • Create quality rubrics: acceptance criteria, pass/fail checklists, quick-fix macros, escalation rules, and calibration guidelines.
          • Define data needs from cases: capture missing rules/thresholds; draft data-needs specs for synthetic data generation.
            • Champion ethics & privacy: ensure PII handling, fairness, and compliant decision rationales in training and review workflows.

Qualification

  • 4–8 years in retail/home-loan underwriting (banks/NBFC/MFI) with hands-on decisioning and policy interpretation.
    • Proven training or mentorship experience—comfortable teaching beginners and non-technical learners.
      • Strong grasp of calculations & documents: FOIR/DTI/LTV/EMI, income proofs, bank statements, credit bureau reports.
        • Fluent in English & Telugu
