About the Job

The Product Development Manager will essentially be responsible the end-to-end development of plastic medical consumables for use in Infusion, Respiratory, Urinary, Renal therapies and surgery. The products should adhere to all prevalent industry regulations, and standards. The role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, project management, and strategic planning to enhance product offerings and meet market demands. 


What you will Do

  • Lead and manage product development projects from conception through commercialization. 
  • Collaborate with regulatory, marketing, and manufacturing teams to define product specifications and timelines. 
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify opportunities for new product development or enhancements to existing products. 
  • Ensure domestic and International regulatory compliance requirements throughout the development process. 
  • Develop business cases, project plans, and budgets for new product initiatives. 
  • Identify Key Challenges to project plans and monitor the same for smooth implementation 
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage product development risks. 
  • Facilitate product testing, validation, and clinical evaluations to ensure product efficacy and safety. 
  • Prepare and present project updates to senior management and stakeholders. 


What you will need

  • Bachelor's degree/Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Tool Designing 
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in product development within the medical device industry. 
  • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and quality assurance processes in medical device development. 
  • Proven track record of managing complex projects and leading cross-functional teams. 
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. 


 Preferred Skills: 

  • Experience with design control processes and product lifecycle management (PLM). 
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies. 
  • Well-versed with project and product development tools 
  • Previous experience with innovative Medical Devices
