We implement leading technologies and continuous improvement programs, which have established Almatis products as the benchmark for quality and consistency.For our Operations team in Falta, we are looking for an enthusiastic and driven Operator.About job:Operating, monitoring, controlling, and adjusting all equipment in the production process based on measurements or analysis of the product specifications. Strict compliance to SOP, SOC, EHS procedures and administrative guidelines Intervening when process disturbances in the production process occur and in consultation with Supervisor/ Manager to determine whether the production process needs to be stopped for reasons of safety or process/ product specification deviation. Stopping and starting of installations Troubleshooting small failures of machines and installations or invocation of R&M, in consultation with the Supervisor/ Manager as and when required. Packaging of product in bags, weighing and shrink/ stretch wrapping and placing packaged products with a forklift in the designated warehouse locations. Perform standardized product, process analysis, and monitor results, such that timely adjustment of the production process will take place. This includes taking of samples compare the results of the laboratory with the specifications Deciding on the adjustments in the process within defined authorization. Reviewing with Supervisor/ Manager to get timely and safe maintenance or repairs to machinery and installations. Identifying and reporting (future) malfunctions Documenting of production information for the shift reporting, so that colleagues are informed regarding the production, analysis etc. and technical failure of installations. Observance of operating, environmental, health and safety regulations, housekeeping of equipment and work area. Being a role model to other team members. Ensure good housekeeping of operating area and self-involvement in housekeepingAbout you:Diploma or equivalent qualification in Chemical Engineering/B. Sc with Chemistry as main subject. 5-7 years of applicable experience, preferably in midsized similar industries. Proven track record and a minimum of 3 years of experience in production process at plant level. Working knowledge of SAP.
