We are seeking a skilled and proactive Microsoft 365 Administrator with strong hands-on experience in managing, securing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments.The ideal candidate will lead the implementation of endpoint security, access control policies, file sharing governance, and Microsoft Teams customization to ensure a secure and efficient digital workplace.Key Responsibilities : 365 Licensing & Security Configuration : - Upgrade user licenses from M365 Business Basic to Business Premium.- Deploy Microsoft Defender for Business across all organization laptops.- Configure Microsoft Intune for device management and compliance.- Apply Conditional Access policies via Microsoft Entra ID P1 to restrict access to company-managed devices.Device & User Access Management :- Enforce policies ensuring only organization laptops can access M365 accounts.- Configure exception workflows for authorized personal device access.- Implement MFA, session control, and device compliance rules.File Sharing Governance :- Ensure secure document collaboration using OneDrive and SharePoint.- Block external sharing by default and prevent sensitive data leaks.- Educate users on secure file sharing practices.Microsoft Teams Configuration : - Create and maintain the Organization Chart in Teams Admin Center.- Add and manage custom applications in the Teams navigation pane.Email and Collaboration Security : - Implement and manage Exchange Online Protection.- Monitor security alerts and respond to suspicious activity.Security Deployment & Access Control Expertise : - Lead deployment of Microsoft Defender via Intune (antivirus, EDR, malware simulation).- Configure device security policies (password, encryption, BitLocker, USB restrictions, Windows Update).- Run pilot rollouts (35 devices), monitor compliance, and scale deployment org-wide.- Block access from non-compliant devices and enforce Conditional Access.- Enable logging and monitor access/file sharing via M365 Security Center and Intune.Documentation & Compliance :- Maintain documentation of configurations, policies, and licenses.- Ensure compliance with internal IT governance and security standards.Required Skills & Qualifications : - Strong experience with Microsoft 365 Admin Center, Intune, and Defender for Business.- Working knowledge of Microsoft Entra (Azure AD) Conditional Access.- Experience in SharePoint and OneDrive administration.- Microsoft Teams admin experience (org chart and app customization).- Understanding of endpoint protection, device compliance, and access controls.- Excellent troubleshooting and documentation skills.Preferred Certifications : - MS-500 (Security Administrator)- MD-102 (Endpoint Administrator)- MS-700 (Teams Administrator) (ref:hirist.tech)
