Here is your chance to be a part of the core team of a young and energetic startup, as we build this rocketship.Role Overview:Were looking for a sharp, proactive, and analytical Business Finance Lead / Head to own P&L governance, enable data-driven decisions, and be a strategic finance partner across the organization.This is a high-impact role ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, growth-stage environment and is passionate about scaling a consumer business with financial discipline.Key Management & Reporting- Manage the finance team to ensure accurate accounting, MIS, and statutory compliance (GST, TDS, audits, ROC filings).- Drive budgeting, forecasting, and monthly/quarterly reporting for founders and investors.- Ensure strong internal controls and financial discipline across teams.Cash Flow & Operations- Manage working capital cycles (payments, receivables, vendor terms).- Optimize treasury, banking relationships, and cash reserves.- Oversee financial processes for 40+ team members.- Help prioritize strategic spends, defer non-critical outflows, and advise on capital deployment.Strategic Finance- Partner with founders on fundraising (equity/debt), investor relations, and board reporting.- Build business models for new categories, offline expansion, and international growth.- Consolidate data from sales, ads, ops, and inventory for comprehensive internal dashboards.- Track unit economics, margins, and contribution profitability across channels (D2C, quick commerce, e-commerce).Compliance & Risk- Ensure timely audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.- Implement financial systems/tools to support scale.- Identify financial risks and mitigate them 6-10 years of experience in business finance, FP&A, or controllership roles.- Prior exposure to D2C, eCommerce, or consumer brands preferred.- Strong command over P&L ownership, cost control, financial modeling, and forecasting.- Advanced Excel skills; familiarity with tools like Zoho Books, Tally, or similar is a plus.- Experience working in founder-led, high-growth startups will be a strong advantage.- High attention to detail, business acumen, and a solution-oriented mindset.- CA / MBA Finance or equivalent professional Work with a dynamic, young team dedicated to innovation and excellence.- Be part of building a cutting-edge startup with a mission to disrupt the industry.- Engage in a culture that values initiative and leadership.- Above all, we are looking for someone who is cheerful and has positive energy, and we ensure that it will never feel like work to you.Please Note: We have attached a google form that might take 15-20 minutes to fill.This is to ensure that we don't waste your time going ahead and have all the relevant information beforehand.
