(Portugal) We are looking for aJunior CTO (Hands-On)— a highly technical engineer who codes every day, but who also has the maturity to take ownership of our growing ecosystem of systems, integrations and platforms. This is a role for someone who wants tolead through execution , influence technical decisions, build solid systems, and grow quickly into a full CTO position. What You Will DoAs our Junior CTO, you will: Lead the development and evolution of ourDjango-based portal Build and maintainREST APIs(Django / FastAPI) Developreal-time communication features(WebSockets) Integratelocal LLMs, embeddings, RAG pipelines and AI-powered features Manage deployments,Docker, Linux servers, Nginx, troubleshooting Improve system architecture and ensure code quality Create documentation, internal standards and technical processes Support and improve ERP-related workflows (basic Odoo knowledge is enough) Work directly with the CEO to define priorities and technical roadmap This is ahands-on leadership role : 80% coding + 20% technical leadership and decision-making. Requirements (Mandatory 4–7 years)Strong experience inPython & Django Solid knowledge ofDjango REST Framework Strong SQL and PostgreSQL experience Hands-on experience withDocker, Linux, Nginx Familiarity withLLMs, LangChain, RAG, embeddings or FastAPI Ability to take ownership and work independently Good communication skills in English Problem-solver with product and business awareness ⭐Nice to Have (Not Required)WebSockets (Django Channels / Socket.IO) Celery & Redis Experience with Odoo (even intermediate) Experience in startups or small tech teams CI/CD pipelines What We OfferHigh autonomy and direct impact Fast-track growth intoFull CTO Work on multiple live projects (AI, automation, integrations, chat system, backend services) Long-term role with stable responsibilities 100% remote work opportunity with an international team
