Job Purpose

We are seeking a Lead / Senior Oracle/PostgreSQL Developer with deep expertise in backend database engineering and AWS. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and optimizing high-performance Oracle/PostgreSQL database systems, ensuring scalability, security, and reliability in enterprise environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize Oracle/PostgreSQL database solutions.
  • Write efficient SQL, PL/SQL, and PL/pgSQL procedures, functions, triggers, and packages.
  • Perform data modeling, schema design, and database configuration.
  • Develop and manage ETL/data migration processes.
  • Optimize queries, indexing, and execution plans for performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex database issues in production environments.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Work with AWS services (Lambda, Step Functions, Kinesis, Kafka, etc.).
  • Implement monitoring, governance, and database security best practices.

Skills & Competencies

Strong SQL programming & query optimization expertise

Hands-on with Oracle/PostgreSQL internals & performance tuning

Exposure to ETL tools (Oracle Data Pump, ODI, etc.)

Knowledge of AWS cloud ecosystem (Aurora, Lambda, Step Functions, etc.)

Strong problem-solving and communication skills
