Job Title: Senior Database Administrator

As a highly skilled and proactive individual, you will take on the challenge of scaling our data infrastructure.

Our team is seeking an expert in database administration and performance tuning to contribute to the design and maintenance of ETL pipelines that support Comparative data loads.

The ideal candidate will have 6+ years of experience in database administration and proficiency with JSON data modeling and optimization. Knowledge of Amazon RDS, particularly PostgreSQL, and Apache Spark for distributed data processing are strong advantages.

  • Data Architecture & Scalability:">

    • Redesign and improve JSON blob storage strategies to ensure optimal performance of critical database systems.">
    • Evaluate and optimize complex data structures spanning five core applications to support high availability and disaster recovery.">

  • Performance Tuning & Optimization:">
    • ">
    • Analyze and resolve performance issues across PostgreSQL, MSSQL, and Snowflake environments to maintain database health and security.">
    • Refactor inefficient queries and recommend index strategies or schema redesigns to enhance query performance.">

  • Database Administration:">
    • ">
    • Ensure high availability, backups, and disaster recovery across database platforms to meet business continuity requirements.">
    • Monitor and manage database health, security, and compliance to maintain regulatory standards.">

  • Data Engineering Support:">

    • Contribute to the design and maintenance of ETL pipelines that support Comparative data loads to enhance data accuracy and timeliness.">
    • Collaborate with data engineering teams on pipeline orchestration, transformation, and delivery to ensure smooth data flow.">
