Job Title: Technical Head Solar Panel Assembly Plant.

Location: Kelamangalam, Hosur, Tamil Nadu.

Reports To: Managing Director / Plant Head.

Experience Required: Minimum 5 years in solar module manufacturing.

Employment Type: Full-Time.

Familiarity with automated lines, Topcon/PERC etc.

Position Summary:

We are looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Head to lead the operations of a state-of-the-art solar panel assembly plant.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in managing solar module production lines and possess hands-on technical knowledge of modern manufacturing systems, process engineering, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Plant Operations & Production

- Manage end-to-end operations of the solar module production line including stringing, bussing, lamination, framing, testing, and sorting.

- Ensure achievement of daily/weekly/monthly production targets, quality yields, and timely dispatch.

- Improve Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduce line downtime.

Technical Supervision

- Oversee machine setup, calibration, and troubleshooting (e.g., Jinchen, ATW stringers, EL/IV testers, laminators).

- Supervise integration of G12/M10 TopCon module lines and plan for future technology upgrades.

- Coordinate with equipment OEMs for alignment on process standards and performance benchmarks.

Process Excellence

- Develop and implement process flow charts, SOPs, and quality check protocols.

- Lead initiatives to reduce defects, enhance yield, and ensure module performance meets wattage targets.

- Continuously monitor key production metrics and apply corrective actions where needed.

Team Leadership

- Build and lead a high-performing technical team including engineers, supervisors, and operators.

- Train staff on machine operations, quality standards, safety, and production KPIs.

- Foster a culture of discipline, ownership, and continuous process improvement.

Compliance & Certification

- Ensure plant operations comply with ISO, BIS, and IEC standards.

- Coordinate with certification agencies and support customer audits.

- Manage documentation and readiness for BIS certification and routine audits.

Candidate Profile

Education: B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or Industrial Engineering.

Experience: Minimum 5 years in solar panel/module manufacturing.

Key Skills Required

- In-depth knowledge of solar module production processes and machines.

- Strong understanding of quality assurance and certification standards.

- Leadership and team management abilities.

- Analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and productivity tools.
