This candidate will require strong ability for creating an attractive product. This candidate should feel comfortable creating prototypes and communicating with internal teams in order to deliver wholesome solutions. The candidate should also have an ability to follow budget constraints and demonstrate some pieces of previous works through a portfolio.

Responsibilities

  1. Design Development – Conceptualize and create custom furniture designs tailored to clients' needs and preferences
  2. Client Interaction: meet with clients to understand their needs, style preference and specific requirements.
  3. Project Mangement: Oversee the production of custom furniture from conception to final installation
  4. Material Selectuon: Research and recommend suitable materials, finishes and fabrics for each project
  5. Collaboration with Team: Work alongside other designers, architects and construction teams to ensure seamless integration of furniture and interior elements
  6. Technical Drawings & Documentation: Create accurate technical drawings, plans and specification for the furniture and interiors
  7. Quality Control: Ensure all furniture and interior elements meet quality standards and client interaction
  8. Sustainability Focus: Promote the use of sustainable materials and environmentally friendly design practices.

Qualifications

  • Educational Qualifications: NID / NIFT
  • 2 - 5 years experience in product design or related field
  • Strong creative, design and communication skills
  • Portfolio of work
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office
