Arjun Rathi Design is a design studio based in Mumbai that specializes in bespoke lighting design. Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Junior Product Designer based in Churchgate, Mumbai, requiring 2 to 4 years of experience
The Junior Product Designer will be responsible for:
Sketch detailed designs and create visualizations by using software tools, including Rhino, AutoCAD, and KeyShot
Ensure precision and adherence to project timelines throughout the design and production process.
Engage with clients to fully understand their needs and expectations, ensuring a seamless and satisfactory experience.
Develop comprehensive proposals and quotations for projects.
Strong communication skills to effectively present and explain design concepts.
Present detailed proposals to clients, adhering to established SOPs.
Uphold the brand's image through consistent quality and timely delivery of products.
Oversee the entire production process to ensure that products meet both brand standards and client specifications.
Maintain accurate records and databases of projects and clients.
Ensure thorough documentation of all project stages, including design iterations, communications, and production details.
Acquire and apply in-depth knowledge of lighting technology to ensure smooth and effective installation processes.
Coordinate the installation phase to address any technical issues and ensure optimal performance.
Ensure the delivery of high-quality products that meet client expectations and align with organizational standards.
**Qualifications:**
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or related field.
Must have 2+ year of experience.
Previous experience in the lighting industry is a plus.
Proficiency in design software like Rhino 3D, Keyshot, InDesign, SolidWorks, AutoCAD, or lighting-specific tools.
Knowledge of lighting technologies, materials, and industry trends.
Strong communication and understanding of design principles and aesthetics.
