Driven by data and analytics, the team creates custom solutions for each client and is one of the fastest growing tribes at Epsilon India.What You Will Enjoy In This RoleThe Senior Project Business Systems Analyst will manage client deliverables relative to our multi-channel marketing engagements. This individual will serve as the primary liaison between onsite client staff and internal Epsilon technical delivery teams. As a key member of a project team, the Sr Project Business Systems Analyst is responsible for transforming high-level client requirements into detailed technical designs and supporting the resulting solution.The individual works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise. The Sr Project Business Systems Analyst normally receives little instruction on day-to-day work and general instructions on new assignments. May oversee the work of others.What You Will Do- Takes on new tasks with minimal instruction and works well in a team environment. - Ability to solve problems on the fly and work in a fast-paced, high traffic environment - Works with clients to discover, analyze and document client business requirements, and translating those needs into system and process solution designs. - Helps with the creation of the business requirement documents (BRD). - Writes high quality functional specification (FSD) and data mapping documents to cater to the solution offered to the client teams. - As needed, able to serve as a liaison between: developers and users, clients and companies, and management and IT. - Support testing team during the testing phase through review of test plans and test cases and performing functional testing. - Coordinates closely with internal production teams and external client teams to develop and document operational processes and change management plans during roll-out of system enhancements. - Ensures high client satisfaction with change management planning, communication, execution, and service. - Transitions final deliverables to the technical implementation team, ensuring they fully understand client requirements and details of the design and plan. - Identifies, tracks and resolves project issues and risks. - Shares knowledge with peers and other project teamsQualifications- 5+ years of business analysis experience around database marketing technologies and data management, and technical understanding in these areas. - Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in IT, Business or Marketing disciplines - Excellent written and verbal communication skills. - Handles any size projects with little to no assistance. - Good understanding of Databases and advanced SQL skills. - Good understanding of API, JSON , XML and SOAP UI. - Strong knowledge of multi-channel marketing concepts and best practices. - Good understanding of Data-warehousing concepts and data marts. - Experience in database marketing and/or data management solutions. - Knowledge of business intelligence technologies (eg. Business Objects, Tableau, Cognos, ETL tools etc.)
