1. Financial Define and propose institutional sales strategies and tactics to ensure sales targets are consistently met/exceeded Ensure analysis of price trend of the market to take various decisions to improve on revenues and price positioning (prices/ contribution per metric tonne) in consultation with the COO Define periodic sales budgets for the organization and identify appropriate sales mix to ensure expenditure on sales efforts are in line with the overall budgeted figures and cost optimization strategies devised by the COO Establish robust collection procedure in place to minimize Accounts Receivable (Days of Sales Outstanding) 2. Customer Design and execute compelling account based B2B marketing strategy to communicate brands differentiated proposition and drive customer loyalty and premium Build strong relationship and network with strategic accounts to develop deep understanding of their current and emerging needs & wants to identify and capture value creation opportunities Collaborate and forge strong relationship with cross functional teams to create effective and optimized marketing programs designed to support the annual business plan Monitor the warehousing and distribution network in liaison with the Regional Sales Heads to ensure the effective distribution of products to customers Conduct necessary Promotional events/programs to activate the Customers/ Traders/Institutional Buyers/Modern trade partners Influence creative agencies to transform the quality and sophistication of the branding, communication & customer engagement programs 3. Operations Routinely monitor and review sales and marketing teams performance against targets and make appropriate steps to ensure that all the targets are met Identify and develop strategic B2B engagement touch points/contact points to showcase brands value proposition and innovative solutions to reinforce expertise and empathy Measure effectiveness through NPS, volume growth, new account acquisition and price premium and incorporate learning to augment planning and execution Benchmark sales performance and process within and outside industry to map gaps in sales efforts and identify routes to bridge them effectively Create superior and immersive customer experience through high quality and consistent branding both online and off line to build brand imagery and customer loyalty. Build a mobile first digital communication strategy to drive ease of customer engagement Ensure proper dispatch to the network and customers to minimize late deliveries Ensure effective redressal of complaints 4. Self/ Team Development Review and monitor performance of team members and provide requisite developmental support/ inputs Recommend training as required for teams development Develop the team and update their knowledge base to cater the organization need Strategize avenues for enhancing employee satisfaction in the function, resulting in high engagement levels of employees
