Purpose of the Role

To manage the enterprise network operations and deliver the projects

Qualification & Experience


Qualifications: BE / BTech or equivalent degree

•Certification in network & Security – Fortigate, Cisco and Aruba will be preferred.

•Product skills – Fortigate (Preferred), Aruba, Cisco, Zscaler Private Access.

•Technical skills – SDWAN, ADVPN, Overlay, Underlay, ZTNA.

Experience: 5 to 7 years of experience in networking & security.


Reporting Relationships

•Upwards – Manager – Enterprise network Architecture

•Downwards – L1/L2 network teams, Vendor and Third-Party Resources

Role – Techno-functional.

Key Deliverables of the Role

• Functional Coordination: Collaborate with business teams to understand requirements, translating them into technical specifications and network designs.

• Integration & Automation: Work with cross-functional teams to integrate network solutions with other IT systems, ensuring seamless operation and minimal downtime.

Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors for hardware/software procurement, support contracts, and escalations.

• Network Design & Architecture: Design and architect network infrastructure solutions (LAN, WAN, VPN, SD-WAN) to meet business and technical requirements.

• Security & Compliance: Implement network security protocols (firewalls, IPS/IDS, ZTNA, NAC) and ensure compliance with industry regulations and as per organization’s ISMS policy.

• Network Monitoring & Optimization: Use monitoring tools to track network performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize network performance for efficiency and scalability.

• Network connectivity & Links: Strong understanding of MPLS, ILL, P2P, express route, cross-connect, RF connectivity, remote connectivity etc.

• Documentation: Prepare and maintain network documentation, SOPs, and user guides. Provide training to junior staff and end-users as needed.

• Manage the projects & implementation of network infra at new locations.

• Evaluate the new network technologies to enhance the performance and uptime of network.

• Manage the link deliveries and review the performance of network with the help of L1/L2 network teams and vendors.

• Managing the respective workgroup in IT ticketing tool responsible for driving your area of service.

Team management- Have experience of training and development of L1/L2 network teams,

Skills and Competencies

•Deep understanding of network and firewalls configuration and troubleshoot network components.

•Understanding of SASE and ZTNA framework.

•Familiar with enterprise grade security techs like defender for endpoints, Zscaler Internet Access, Web application firewall, Azure cloud network, Privileged Identity and access management (PIM / PAM) etc.

•Able to track the projects deliveries and work with vendors to manage the operations.

•Create and compare BoQ for network implementation and prepare decision notes to doo cost comparisons.

•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical actionable.

•Good communication skills for interacting with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

•Familiarity with security practices, including Zero Trust Network Architecture (ZTNA), network segmentation, and network access control (NAC).
