Job Title: CTO Co-Founder


Location: Remote for now, but must be willing to relocate to Bengaluru as we approach funding milestones.


About ScaleUp:

We’re building ScaleUp, a transformative platform combining education, gamified learning, and career growth in a community-driven ecosystem. With an MVP validated by early users, we are now scaling towards a full-feature launch and actively preparing to raise our first funding round (FFF) by March 2025, followed by a seed round by the end of next year.


What We’re Looking For:

We’re searching for a passionate and experienced CTO Co-Founder who can lead the technology vision and development at ScaleUp. As a core member of the founding team, you will shape the platform’s architecture, drive innovation, and build a scalable, user-centric solution.


Your Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute the technical roadmap, including key features like AI personalization, gamification, and scalability.
  • Build and manage a lean and efficient tech team, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Take ownership of the platform’s architecture, ensuring stability, security, and scalability.
  • Collaborate closely with the other two co-founders to align technology with business goals.
  • Play an active role in pitching to investors and scaling the platform post-funding.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Prior startup-building experience (preferred).
  • Proven expertise in leading tech teams and delivering scalable solutions.
  • Hands-on experience in full-stack development, cloud technologies, and AI/ML is a big plus.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with a passion for innovation and execution.
  • Willingness to move to Bengaluru when the company transitions closer to funding milestones.


Compensation Structure:

  • This will initially be an equity-based role with equal equity sharing among co-founders.
  • Post-funding, the role will include a monetary component, offering a competitive package alongside the equity.
  • During the bootstrapping phase, the co-founders are investing a maximum of ₹40,000 per month, and the same commitment will be expected from you.
