SALESFORCE TECHNICAL LEAD

THE ROLE

This role involves day-to-day management of our Salesforce technical team, leading large enterprise engagements. You'll coordinate with the Solution Architect and Project Manager, leading the development of customized components.

We need candidates with a strong understanding of the Salesforce platform.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the development lifecycle, including business requirements gathering, application design, configuration, and testing.
  • Evaluate technology options and make decisions aligning with project constraints.
  • Serve as the main technical point of contact for client inquiries, overseeing both existing and new Salesforce enhancements.
  • Manage day-to-day activities such as bug fixes, feature analysis, and data examination.
  • Direct release and environment management, encompassing sandbox planning, metadata migration, and version control.
  • Architect complex Salesforce solutions, overseeing environment setup, integration with multiple technologies, and advanced customization.
  • Collaborate with clients to map functional requirements to Salesforce features and disseminate solution best practices.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure project execution meets technical and functional specifications, leading code-review sessions and addressing potential bottlenecks.
  • Provide hands-on support in software/application architecture, development, design, and deployment, offering guidance to clients on technology and project progress.
  • Supervise technical team members, conduct workshops, and mentor junior staff on Salesforce technologies and best practices.

Experience and Qualifications

Must Have

  • 8+ years of experience in a hands-on technical/development role.
  • Minimum 6 years of experience with Salesforce development.
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in Salesforce Lightning Web Component.
  • One or more current Salesforce advanced certifications (Platform Developer 1, Platform Developer 2, Architect certification(s), Sales/Service/Experience Cloud).
  • Strong experience in designing, developing, and implementing Salesforce applications, including Visualforce and Apex, Lightning, Partner Portals, and Lightning Communities.
  • Previous experience setting up and managing Salesforce code management and CI/CD processes, with proficiency in relevant tools like Jenkins.
  • Ability to present and articulate developed SFDC features to clients, proposing effective solutions.
  • Capability to work on projects, assisting in functionality mapping, configuration, testing, and building custom apps within SFDC.
  • Experience with source control tools like Git.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Nice-to-have

  • Background in/understanding of Object-Oriented programming.
  • Previous experience as an architect/developer in multiple Salesforce projects.
  • Experience in the automotive industries.
  • Familiarity with Salesforce CTI.
  • Experience in integrating Salesforce products with technologies external to Salesforce.
