Purpose of the Role:

- The People & Culture Partner team is at the center of the P&C function.

- People Partners are connected to business units (BU) and work closely with the Leaders and the business to understand the BU's talent strategy, initiatives and/or challenges and then in partnership with the COEs, strategizes and activates solutions that deliver high impact.

- This role will be the P&C lead for Warner Bros.

- Discovery's Technology & Operations and the Global Content Operations functions at our Capability Center in Hyderabad, India and will setup and manage a diverse portfolio of global functional teams.

- To be successful in the role, the individual should love making a difference and play as a team member and/or coach to build winning businesses and highly energized teams.

- The individual should be able to lead and work as a trusted advisor to senior leaders in the business, leverage resources from the wider P&C ecosystem and inspire individuals to create a culture where every employee can do their best work.

Areas of Responsibility:

MAJOR ACTIVITIES:

- Drive the People & Culture strategy to meet the short-term and long-term needs of the business.

- Lead setting up of multiple functions including Global Technology & Operations and Global Content Operations teams in Hyderabad by managing exceptional employee experiences through the employee lifecycle.

- Ensure our organization's treatment of employees is fair, respectful, and consistent with our business values and objectives.

- Proactively provide creative and engaging solutions to motivate employees at different career points.

- Use data to analyze casework trends to produce strategic, proactive recommendations to P&C and the Business to proactively address and mitigate systemic issues.

- Partner in Harmonization of people programs, policies and practices to sustain a positive work environment for all employees.

- Develop strong working relationships with the COEs to support the implementation of P&C programmes and initiatives.

- Find ways for Managers/ Senior leaders to create meaningful connections with each other and their teams.

- Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace and 'one company' mindset as a critical priority.

- Develop an understanding of the financial drivers of each business area and demonstrates an interest in the external environment and competitors.

- Work with global team to successfully set up the Hyderabad Capability center and influence multiple stakeholders across functions to smoothly deliver on project expectations.

Essential:

Job Requirements / Skills :

- Successful track record as HR Business Partner in progressive, fast-paced environment.

- Having worked in a global matrixed organization and a capability center is really helpful.

- Highly passionate about understanding & partnering with business with a genuine interest in people.

- Ability to influence stakeholders independently.

- Ability to work in an Ambiguous environment and apply good judgement to resolve problems.

- Build collaborative relationships within People & Culture team internationally as well as business teams & individual employees in business.

Desirable:

- Experience of setting up shared services.

- Worked across ground up projects in setting up a new service/office/function.
