We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven leader to spearhead the strategy, development, and implementation of email and marketing campaigns of vidaXL.

This pivotal role is focused on driving business growth through strategic marketing initiatives, ensuring that our email and marketing automation efforts are effectively aligned with our commercial objectives and customer engagement goals.

As the ideal candidate, you bring a proven track record in leading successful email and marketing campaigns, with a strong emphasis on strategy, customer engagement, and business growth within the eCommerce space.

You will be responsible for optimizing email marketing efforts, designing customer journeys, and ensuring campaigns drive meaningful results across the customer lifecycle.

You will also act as the key liaison between the business/commercial teams and the Email Development Team, ensuring the alignment of marketing strategies with our overall product and business objectives.

Key Leadership:

- Evaluate and refine the current email and marketing strategy to ensure it aligns with commercial objectives and growth targets.

- Define clear objectives, KPIs, and success metrics to track the performance of email campaigns and marketing initiatives, reporting these results to key stakeholders.

- Stay ahead of industry trends and marketing innovations to continuously evolve our marketing strategies, ensuring maximum impact.

Roadmap and Campaign Planning:

- Lead the development and execution of the marketing roadmap from a commercial perspective in close collaboration with the Product Owner, ensuring prioritization of initiatives that drive the highest business value.

- Develop compelling business cases to secure approval and budget for new marketing initiatives, ensuring they align with both product development and commercial goals.

- Ensure campaigns are fully supported by the necessary resources and tools, working closely with the Product Owner to ensure effective implementation.

Campaign Optimization:

- Work alongside the Email Marketeers (reports to you) to optimize email performance,

including open rates and click-through rates, through A/B testing and data-driven insights.

- Lead efforts to enhance customer journeys, focusing on personalization, segmentation, and dynamic content to improve customer engagement and conversion rates.

- Maximize the use of Salesforce Marketing Cloud to deliver high-performing campaigns while continuously improving and maintaining email deliverability and IP and Stakeholder Management:

- Serve as the connection between the business/commercial teams and the Email Development Team, ensuring email marketing strategies are executed effectively and align with broader product and commercial objectives.

- Collaborate closely with the Performance, Data, and Webshop teams to drive personalization

and automation across the entire customer journey, ensuring a seamless and engaging experience for customers.

- Engage and manage relationships with internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment and support for email marketing strategies and contributing to their goals.

- Manage relationships with external stakeholders, such as platform providers (Salesforce), and strategic consulting agencies.

Reporting and Analysis:

- Lead reporting efforts on the commercial performance of email campaigns, ensuring insights are actionable and help guide future strategy.

- Collaborate with the Lead Email Marketeer to present campaign performance to key stakeholders, focusing on both commercial and email-specific Bachelors degree in marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.

- 5+ years of experience in Email Marketing, Marketing Strategy, or related roles within eCommerce or retail, with a focus on customer engagement and business growth.

- Proven ability to develop and implement successful marketing strategies that drive commercial results.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insights and strategic decisions.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a talent for working cross-functionally and managing stakeholder relationships.

- A creative, strategic thinker who is passionate about customer engagement and revenue growth.

Preferred Experience:

- Hands-on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Certified) (or similar platforms: Braze, Epsilon, Oracle Marketing Cloud, etc.

- Expertise in designing and executing successful email campaigns and customer journeys in an eCommerce environment.
