Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated professional to lead the Department of IB Board at AP Guru. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the International Baccalaureate (IB) system, with proven expertise in curriculum planning, team coordination, and academic excellence. This role involves managing a dynamic team of coordinators, overseeing student academic progress, and implementing effective strategies to drive overall performance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead, mentor, and manage the coordination team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.
  • Curriculum Planning: Ensure the seamless alignment of IB curriculum standards, assessments, and instructional practices.
  • Academic Monitoring: Oversee student progress, analyze performance metrics, and implement strategies to support academic success.
  • Program Development: Innovate and improve academic programs tailored to the IB curriculum, focusing on skill development and student engagement.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Serve as the main point of contact between students, parents, and faculty, maintaining clear and professional communication.
  • Operational Oversight: Manage daily operations within the IB department, ensuring adherence to policies, deadlines, and quality standards.
  • Professional Development: Organize training sessions and professional development programs for staff to stay updated on IB methodologies.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Education or a related field.
  • 7-10 years of experience working in an IB school, with at least 3 years in a leadership or coordination role.
  • Strong knowledge of the IB curriculum and assessment framework.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Proven experience in team management and academic strategy implementation.

  • Problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • A proactive approach to leadership and mentoring.
  • Experience with educational technology tools and platforms.
