THE ROLE

Our team is looking for a results-driven marketing technology professional with a passion for Salesforce Marketing Cloud helping organisations solve complex business and technology problems.

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consulting Manager to lead and manage our team of consultants in delivering top-tier solutions to our clients.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud, proven leadership abilities, and a passion for driving marketing automation success. This role involves leading complex projects,and developing innovative marketing strategies using Salesforce Marketing Cloud.

The role is a permanent position based out of our India Offices.

RESPONSIBILITIES - WHAT YOU'LL DO

Project Management & Delivery:

  • Lead and manage end-to-end Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation projects, ensuring on-time and within-budget delivery.
  • Oversee project scoping, resource allocation, timelines, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including developers, data analysts, and designers, to deliver seamless client solutions.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Manage and mentor a team of Salesforce Marketing Cloud consultants, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback.
  • Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Ensure the team stays updated with the latest Salesforce Marketing Cloud features, updates, and industry trends.

Solution Design & Implementation:

  • Design and implement complex Salesforce Marketing Cloud solutions, including Email Studio, Journey Builder, Mobile Studio, Advertising Studio, and Automation Studio.
  • Develop and optimize personalized customer journeys, segmentation strategies, and data-driven campaigns.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementations and integrations.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation:

  • Stay informed about the latest digital marketing trends and Salesforce Marketing Cloud updates.
  • Identify opportunities to enhance existing processes, tools, and services to improve efficiency and client satisfaction.
  • Contribute to the development of marketing automation best practices and thought leadership content.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED - WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • 12 + years of experience in a hands-on technical/development role.

5+ years of experience in Salesforce Marketing Cloud consulting, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.

  • Proven working experience using various marketing cloud components: CloudPages, Email Studio, Advertising Studio, Web Studio, Journey Builder, Audience Builder and Content Builder. Personalisation (Interaction Studio) will be advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead teams and collaborate across departments.
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Marketing Cloud Email Specialist) are highly desirable.
  • Strong knowledge of AMPScript, text and HTML emails, SSJS, SFMC APIs, landing pages, SMS and push notifications from MobilePush
  • Thorough understanding of the Salesforce data model, database objects, and ability to write complex SQL queries.
  • Experience working with third party AppExchange products such as integration with other messaging services – WhatsApp, WeeChat..etc.
  • Strong understanding of and experience building B2B email, digital, messaging, marketing campaigns, and customer experience best practices on the Salesforce platform.
  • Proven experience managing and delivering complex Salesforce Marketing Cloud projects.
  • Excellent client management skills, with the ability to understand client needs and build long-term relationships.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making.
