🚀 CRM Automation & AI Workflow DeveloperLocation: Remote (Global applicants welcome)Department: Technology & AutomationType: Full-timeWe’re looking for a CRM Automation & AI Workflow Developer to help us scale and streamline our operations by building smart, automated workflows that connect systems, eliminate manual steps, and leverage AI for real-time insights and decision support.If you’re passionate about automation, APIs, and AI-driven problem solving — and love turning complex business processes into seamless, intelligent workflows — we’d love to meet you.🧩 What You’ll DoBuild, maintain, and optimize automation workflows across EspoCRM and connected platforms.Audit and enhance existing CRM workflows, ensuring data accuracy, efficiency, and scalability.Develop and manage custom scripts, workflows, and API integrations within EspoCRM.Build and maintain automation pipelines in n8n, Zapier, or similar tools to connect CRMs, cloud storage, and communication platforms.Integrate AI tools (e.g., OpenAI, Claude, HuggingFace) for document generation, summarization, and intelligent task routing.Collaborate with non-technical teams to translate operational pain points into automated technical solutions.Maintain version control, documentation, and contribute to an internal automation roadmap with measurable KPIs (time saved, efficiency gained, accuracy improved).💻 Technical RequirementsStrong understanding of CRMs and databases — entities, relationships, workflows, and data models.Experience with EspoCRM, or transferable experience from CRM systems such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or Zoho.Skilled in PHP, JavaScript, and MySQL, with experience building and consuming REST APIs.Familiarity with EspoCRM’s stack:PHP 7+/8+MVC structure (similar to Laravel/Symfony)Frontend: Backbone.js, Handlebars.js, jQueryDatabase: MySQL / MariaDBComfortable with webhooks, JSON, and API authentication (OAuth, tokens, etc.).Hands-on experience building AI-integrated automations (e.g., text summarization, data extraction, classification).⚙️ Automation & AI Workflow SkillsProficiency in n8n, Zapier, or Make (Integromat) — including complex, multi-step automations.Ability to connect CRMs, email systems, Google Workspace, Slack, and cloud storage tools.Understanding of OpenAI API, LangChain, or similar frameworks.Experience connecting CRM data to LLMs for automations like client responses or claim summaries.Practical knowledge of prompt design, embedding models, and retrieval workflows is a plus.🧠 Bonus SkillsExperience in insurance, claims management, or operations-heavy industries.Familiarity with Google Workspace API, Slack API, or cloud storage integrations.Background in process re-engineering or low-code workflow design.Strong communication skills — able to collaborate with both technical and non-technical teams.📋 Preferred Experience3–5 years’ experience in CRM customization or backend development.Prior experience with PHP CRM frameworks (EspoCRM, SugarCRM, SuiteCRM, etc.).Proven experience building automation and AI-powered workflows.✅ Who You AreYou’re a technical problem-solver who thrives at the intersection of automation, AI, and business process design.
