ROLE DESCRIPTION: -

eQ Technologic's Documentation Team is looking for highly accomplished and passionate Technical Writers based in Pune, India. The person shall be responsible for the creation of technical documentation for both technical and non-technical users. This is a tremendous opportunity to contribute to our next generation product as well as strengthen technical skills and product knowledge. You must be a quick learner and have excellent communication skills.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: -

a. Conceptualize, research, plan and author high-quality technical documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience

b. Partner with the technical team, customers, implementation managers, and product managers to understand the requirements and provide expected deliverables

c. Study product samples, specifications documents, and mock-ups to gain an understanding of project work

d. Create and maintain the information architecture

e. Adheres to company documentation processes and style guides

REQUIRED SKILLS: -

a. Proven working experience in technical writing

b. Excellent English written communication skills

c. Strong English verbal communication skills

d. Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable in text and pictures

e. Ability to work with cross-functional business teams

f. Ability to accept feedback and incorporate it

g. Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office

h. Creativity and ability to think outside the box while defining sound and practical solutions

Preferred skills: -

a. Experience or background in technological areas such as databases, web technologies, networking, or programming is a plus

b. Experience on any authoring tool preferably MadCap Flare, and screen capturing tool

c. Experience in Version Control, Content Management Systems for documentation is a plus

d. Knowledge of Agile and Waterfall development methodologies will be an added advantage
