We are hiring for a mid-Level Endpoint Security Analyst, you will be responsible for the protection, monitoring, and maintenance of our organization's endpoint security infrastructure. You will work closely with senior security personnel to implement and manage endpoint security solutions, respond to security incidents, and ensure compliance with security policies and best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Endpoint Security Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain endpoint security solutions, including antivirus, anti-malware, and endpoint detection and response (EDR) tools and other security components.
  • Incident Response: Investigate and respond to security incidents involving endpoints. Analyze malware, conduct forensic investigations, and recommend remediation actions.
  • Monitoring and Analysis: Monitor endpoint security systems and logs for signs of potential threats or vulnerabilities. Perform regular security assessments and vulnerability scans.
  • Policy and Procedure Development: Assist in the development and implementation of endpoint security policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Collaboration: Work with IT teams and other departments to ensure endpoint security measures are integrated and effective across the organization.
  • Training and Awareness: Provide training and guidance to end-users on security best practices and the proper use of endpoint security tools.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of endpoint security configurations, incidents, SOPs and actions taken. Prepare reports and documentation for management review.
  • Research and Development: Stay up to date with the latest security trends, threats, and technologies. Evaluate new security tools and solutions to enhance endpoint protection.

Other requirements -

  • Certifications: Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or any security related certificate) are preferred.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency with endpoint security tools and technologies, such as antivirus software, EDR platforms, HDLP, NDLP, CASB, Drive Encryption, Proxy, DAM and vulnerability scanners. Knowledge of operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux) and their security features.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex security data and provide actionable insights.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly document incidents, procedures, and recommendations.
