Assistant Manager - Sales and Responsibilities:
As an Assistant Manager - Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales and business growth within your assigned region from our Chandigarh office.
Your role is pivotal in managing the entire sales lifecycle, from prospecting to closing, while building lasting relationships with key clients.
Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Sales Management: Actively manage and execute all sales activities to meet and exceed revenue targets.
- Strategy and Planning: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to penetrate new markets and expand our client base.
- Business Development: Proactively identify and engage with potential customers in the scientific research and laboratory sectors.
- Client Relationships: Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with clients to foster repeat business and long-term partnerships.
- Presentations and Negotiations: Conduct compelling sales presentations, negotiate contracts, and close deals.
- Reporting and Analysis: Prepare detailed sales reports, analyze market trends, and provide insights to leadership.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing team to ensure sales efforts are aligned with overall marketing strategies.
Required Qualifications
- Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience in a sales or sales management role.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Core Skills: Strong proficiency in sales and negotiation.
- Strategic Mindset: Experience in developing effective sales strategies and identifying customer needs.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Analytical Abilities: The ability to analyze market trends and prepare comprehensive sales reports.
- Domain Knowledge: Knowledge of scientific research equipment and laboratory processes is a significant advantage.
