Role Overview:
- We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Assistant Vice President - Sales to lead and grow our sales organization. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Hyderabad. The AVP - Sales will drive business growth by developing and executing sales strategies, managing key accounts, leading high-performing sales teams, and overseeing overall sales operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve revenue and growth targets.
- Lead, mentor, and manage a high-performing sales team to ensure individual and team goals are met.
- Drive new business development initiatives across B2B and B2C channels.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Monitor sales metrics and prepare regular performance reports for senior management.
- Collaborate with marketing, operations, and product teams to align sales strategies with organizational goals.
- Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to inform strategic decision-making.
- Travel as required to meet clients and attend key business events.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Proven experience in sales leadership and sales management roles.
-Strong expertise in account management, business development, and sales operations.
- Excellent leadership, team management, and motivational skills.
- Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving abilities.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Degree in Business, Marketing, or related field; MBA preferred.
- Experience in the education or technology sector is a plus.
- Prior experience in EdTech, B2B, and B2C sales is highly desirable.
