Purpose/ObjectiveWe are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Configuration Manager to manage the configuration management (CM) processes for complex defence and aerospace systems. The ideal candidate will ensure product integrity and consistency throughout the product lifecycle, from design through production, support, and retirement.Key Responsibilities:- Develop and implement Configuration Management Plans in compliance with industry standards (e.g., MIL-STD-973, EIA-649). - Responsible for the SAP Interface to all the documents pertaining to design and Manufacturing Engineering. - Must have an experience of Impact analysis in change management. - Responsible for the Draft preparation of Estimation of detail parts. - Maintain configuration control of system baselines including Drawing, Specifications, CAM Programs, 3D Models and other Design furnished documentation. - Establish and manage change control boards (CCBs), and review and approve engineering change requests. - Ensure traceability of configuration items through all lifecycle phases. - Coordinate with engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, and supply chain teams to ensure CM practices are followed. - Maintain CM databases and tools. - Prepare configuration audits and status accounting reports for internal and customer review. - Support compliance with defense standards and regulatory requirements. - Interface with customers and government representatives on CM-related matters.Qualifications and Experience- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engg, Automobile engineering - 5-8 years of experience in configuration management, preferably in aerospace or defense projects. - Strong knowledge of CM tools and industry standards. - Experience in Handling SAP S4 HANA Platform. - Familiarity with defense and aerospace documentation, security, and compliance requirements. - Excellent organizational, communication, and project management skills. - Security clearance eligibility may be required depending on project involvement.Contact -Adityasharma4@adani.com8769687808Joy Saha - Joy.Saha@adani.com+91 9898791075
