It will help Pella scale smarter, move faster, and build internal expertise that lasts.We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-orientedProduct Configurator Developerto join our team in building and maintainingItems, Bill of Materials and Product Configuratorfor our CPQ/PLM/ERP Systems. This role is central to enabling seamless product configuration experiences across multipleOrder Entry systems, ensuring accuracy, scalability, and performance. As a Manufacturing Product Knowledge Developer, you will be responsible for implementing and optimizing complexproduct structures, rules, andrelationshipswithin the applications platform. You will collaborate closely with product management, engineering, and business stakeholders to translate product strategies into robust configuration logic and enable functional processes. This includes custom development where necessary to support advanced product behaviors and integrations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in product modeling, configuration logic, and CPQ/PLM/ERP systems, with a passion for solving intricate product challenges through thoughtful design and development.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Set upItems, BOMs, and Configurator Modelsbased on engineering specifications and manufacturing requirements. Configure product knowledgerules, logic,and relationships to support dynamic product offerings. Develop custom solutions and enhancements usingJavato support advanced product configurator functionality. Understand and interpretEngineering Drawings and Design BOMsto ensure accurate configuration. Understanding/supporting internal and external data integrations with multipleorder entry systemsandmanufacturing systems. Analyze business requirements, develop design, manage configuration and integration, and conductrobust testingto support newsystem implementations, current system upgrades and business process changes Troubleshootandresolveproduct configurator-related issues, ensuring high availability and reliability of the order entry systems. Stay current with best practices, emerging technologies, and product modeling techniques to continuously improve configurator performance and maintainability.EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor’s degree in dataAnalytics, Management Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field – or equivalent work experience. 2-5 years of experience with similar configuration / development inOracle ConfiguratorREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Proven experience withOracle Configurator, Oracle Bill of Materials, with a strong understanding ofproduct configuration logic,rule-based modeling, and guided selling strategies. Ability to translate complex product structures and business requirements into scalable configuration models. Familiarity withOracle Order Managementor similar tools and understanding of how configurator-generated BOMs support manufacturing and downstream processes. Experience usingPLM systemslike Agile PLM, and ability to read engineering prints and design BOMs. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot and optimize product logic and data flows. Experience withJavafor developing and supporting Oracle Configurator Extensions. Familiarity with Logscale or equivalent tools for troubleshooting order processing errors. Hands-on experience usingPostmanor similar tools for API testing, debugging, and documentation. Advanced skills inMicrosoft Excel,including complex formulas, data modeling, and transformation techniques. Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams including product management, engineering, and sales operations.LEADERSHIP SKILLS / PREFERRED ATTRIBUTES: Passion for Business Analysis and understanding a complex CPQ workflow.Certifications or licenses: N/A
