- Analyze user behavior using tools like Google Analytics, Hotjar, or GA4 to find drop-off points and opportunities.
- Build a roadmap for continuous optimization based on data-driven insights.
- Experimentation & Testing
- Create, set up, and manage A/B, multivariate, and split tests using platforms like Google Optimize, VWO, or Optimizely.
- Develop hypotheses and define success metrics for each test.
- Segment audiences and personalize user experiences to drive higher engagement and conversions.
- Implementation & Execution
- Work with team members to implement front-end changes using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript when needed from mockups for proposed improvements.
- Integrate testing tools with analytics platforms for seamless reporting.
- Performance Measurement & Reporting
- Analyze test results and provide actionable recommendations.
- Prepare and present reports to stakeholders with clear insights and next steps.
- Continuously track KPIs such as conversion rates, revenue per visitor, and customer acquisition costs.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in A/B testing platforms (Google Optimize, VWO, Optimizely, etc.).
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic JavaScript.
- Expertise with analytics tools like Google Analytics (GA4), Tag Manager, and heatmap/session recording tools.
- Experience with landing page builders (e.g., Unbounce, Webflow, WordPress, or custom CMS).
Analytical & Strategic
- Strong knowledge of conversion funnels, UX best practices, and behavioral psychology.
- Ability to interpret complex data and turn insights into actionable strategies.
- Skilled in creating hypotheses and testing frameworks.
Soft Skills
- Highly self-sufficient and able to execute projects end-to-end.
- Excellent communication and reporting skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Success in this role will be measured by:
- Increased conversion rates across key funnels.
- Improved ROI from marketing channels.
- Volume and quality of actionable insights delivered.
- Efficiency in running and completing experiments independently.
