Job Description: Legal Associate

Required Experience: 3-5 years

Industry: HealthCare Sector

Location: Noida

Legal Advisory Services:

- To provide management consultancy services by undertaking legal research, legal document preparation as well as legal document/ agreement reviews, etc.

- To advise the management and the different department of the organization on various legal compliances.

- To advise the management and the different department of the organization on various licenses and meeting/coordination with various higher government authorities.

- To advise the management and various departments of the company on all matters as per their requirement including the matters connected with the business operational decisions.

- To advise on various laws/rules regulations having an impact on the business basis the need of the respective department.

Legal Compliances:

- To advise the management to enable it to formulate statutory compliant policies.

- Responsible for various healthcare compliances of the company.

- Expert in compliances applicable to the Healthcare business

- Obtaining various Registration/licenses and compliances thereof w.r.t. the healthcare business.

- Coordination with the departments and meeting/coordination with various higher government authorities.

Legal Documentation:

- Drafting, vetting and negotiation of various legal service agreements, MOU, NDA and other documents.


- Finalization of various documents in coordination with advocates as well as conducting extensive research work as well as corresponding with counsels and clients in relation to legal matters.

DESIRED TRAITS:

- Contract lifecycle management experience is mandatory. The candidate should be able to handle contract independently.

- Candidate should have excellent knowledge of preparing and managing legal documentation.


- Candidate should be open for travel to the locations where HCL operations is active.

- Has the ability to evaluate and weigh all legal aspects and / or situations, and be able to provide sound solutions, with the aim of protecting the legal rights and protect interests of the Organization at all times.

- Displays sharp legal and analytical mind

- Work closely with empanelled lawyers, follow up on all litigation matters, and liaise with regulatory authorities and legal team of customers.

Working Relationship:

1. To develop a close professional working relationship with the Head of Department, to whom the position reports

2. The job requires the incumbent to maintain teamwork at all operational levels and to upkeep good working relations with the government offices / authorities, lawyers and advocates

3. Develop a close working relationship with all Units/Departments within HCL

4. To participate and attend Department / MC meetings as and when required
