The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in business development, both domestically and internationally, and possess in-depth knowledge of tea tasting, procurement, and blending. This role demands a strategic thinker with a proven ability to generate leads and secure buyers throughout the year, and a commitment to long-term service.


Key Responsibilities:

·       Strategic Management: Oversee and audit key performance metrics using Salesforce and other integral reporting systems.


·       Business Development: Identify, pursue, and secure new business opportunities and contracts/orders.


·       Market Analysis: Provide insights into market data, customer feedback, and strategic growth opportunities.


·       Client Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive sales growth.


·       Sales Leadership: Manage and execute sales strategies, market planning, performance forecasting, and reporting.


·       Capture Planning: Develop and implement formal capture plans and strategies to win new business.


·       Long-term Planning: Prepare and present business analyses and strategic recommendations to senior management.


Requirements:

·       Tea Industry Experience: Minimum of 15 years in business development within the tea industry, including knowledge in tea tasting, procurement, and blending.


·       International Business Experience: Proven ability to run a business and secure leads and buyers both in India and overseas.


·       Leadership Skills: Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing business development teams.


· Self-motivation: High level of self-motivation and adaptability to a fast-paced environment.


·       Commitment to Long-Term Service: Demonstrated interest in long-term service and growth with the company.


Salary: Negotiable based on experience and qualifications.
