Lead - Finance Overview: The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring accuracy and integrity in financial reporting, general ledger management, and compliance with Ind AS standards.The role involves active participation in audits, financial statement preparation, and process improvement initiatives to drive operational efficiency and control.Key Responsibilities:General Ledger & Financial Reporting:- Perform regular scrutiny and substantiation of the general ledger to ensure accuracy and timely resolution of discrepancies.- Prepare financial statements from trial balance along with relevant notes on a quarterly and annual basis.- Prepare and review related party disclosures on a quarterly basis.Fixed Assets Management:- Review the Fixed Asset Register (FAR) on a monthly basis.- Ensure timely capitalization, depreciation accounting, and closure of fixed asset accounting processes.ESOP & Compliance:- Manage ESOP accounting in accordance with Ind AS requirements.- Ensure compliance with statutory and internal control frameworks.Audit Coordination & ICFR:- Assist and coordinate with statutory and internal auditors for queries and ensure timely resolution.- Collaborate with the risk and audit teams for smooth closure of Internal Control over Financial Reporting (ICFR) processes.Systems & Process Improvement:- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.- Drive automation and digital initiatives for improved financial reporting accuracy and turnaround.Skills & Qualifications:- Strong understanding of Ind AS accounting principles and their practical application.- Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems (SAP / Oracle preferred), and financial reporting tools.- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage multiple deliverables under tight deadlines.Education & Experience:- Qualification: Chartered Accountant (CA) / MBA (Finance)- Experience: 3 to 6 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, audit coordination, and Ind AS accounting (ref:iimjobs.com)
