We're hiring for one of our esteemed clients seeking a Manager – Steel Analyst to drive strategic pricing, procurement, and market intelligence initiatives.About the Role:As a Steel Analyst, you will:- Monitor, analyze, and forecast pricing trends for raw materials and finished goods. - Provide data-backed insights to top management on procurement and pricing strategies. - Drive long- and short-term contracting decisions through scientific models and predictive analytics. - Lead daily dashboards, cost-benefit analyses, inventory optimization, and strategic reporting.️ What You Bring:Technical Competencies:- 8–10 years of relevant experience, preferably in the steel industry. - Strong expertise in raw materials (Iron Ore, Ferro Alloys, Fluxes, etc.) and finished goods (Billets, TMT, etc.). - Proficiency in analytical tools, forecasting models, ERP systems, and MS Office. - Hands-on exposure to domestic, import, and export markets.Behavioral Competencies:- Integrity, accountability, result orientation, and relationship-building. - Strong communication skills with multi-lingual ability.Qualifications:- Graduate/Postgraduate (preferably in Statistics or related field). - Proven experience in data analytics, cost forecasting, and market intelligence.Key Responsibilities:- Monitor market trends vs purchase cost - Forecast pricing and optimize purchase quantity - Deliver insightful reports and recommendations - Maintain real-time dashboards and data analytics - Contribute to cost reduction and inventory optimization initiativesReady to Make an Impact?Apply now to join a forward-thinking team with one of our esteemed clients in the steel industry.
