We are currently hiring for our client - US based accounting firm .Position : Director - US Accounting & FinanceLocation : HyderabadShift Timings: (11 AM - 8 PM) / (2 PM – 11 PM ) ( Hybrid role)About The RoleIn this role, you will be responsible for managing a team of staff and senior accountants, Accounting Managers and AP, AR and Treasury team members in India, responsible for timely and accurate financial reporting.The monthly close process will include various components including revenue recognition processes, balance sheet reconciliations, bank reconciliations, and other accounting practices in accordance with US GAAP. In addition to typical monthly close processes, you will oversee a Collections associate along with a AR/Treasury Associate who are strictly focused on supporting our firms in collecting aged receivables and providing daily cash receipts and transaction coding support, respectively.Basic Qualifications:• 8+ years working as a Controller, Director of Accounting, or a similar accounting leadership position• Experience with US GAAP and accrual basis accounting• Knowledge of business processes used by professional services firms• 5+ years managing a team -bookkeepers, accountants, and/or AR/AP associates• Experience working in a fast-paced environment with M&A activities / growing scope of work• Experience building a team/culture and developing team members• A strong desire to build a lasting, best-in-class accounting organization
