About Our Client

Our client is a large Indian conglomerate with a strong presence in the chemical and polymers industry. They are a market leader known for their innovative products and extensive distribution network across the country. They are looking for a senior leader to join their team and drive aggressive growth in a key business unit.

Job Description

Create and implement a regional sales strategy for the additives, resins, solvents, and polymers segments. Lead and manage a sales team of 10-12 professionals to achieve business targets. Manage both distributor and direct customer sales with a balanced focus. Conduct sales planning and analysis to identify market trends and opportunities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and technical services. Oversee collections and ensure timely payments. Address and resolve customer complaints effectively. Uphold and ensure compliance with workplace safety, IMS, and ESG standards.

The Successful Applicant

Minimum 15 years of sales experience in the chemical, plastic, or polymer industry. Proven track record of handling a business size of ₹350 crores or more. Balanced experience in both distributor sales and direct customer sales. Strong team-handling experience, ideally managing a team of 10-12 people. Mandatory post-graduate qualification (MBA or equivalent). Experience in key account management is a plus. Must be comfortable with Andheri (Mumbai) as the base location.
