We are looking for a seasoned and results-driven SEO Team Lead to join Modifyed Digital (digital marketing agency). The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing and executing SEO strategies across various domains, including on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO.


On-Page SEO:

  • Conduct thorough keyword research.
  • Optimize website content, meta descriptions, title tags, headers, and images to improve search engine rankings.
  • Collaborate with the content team to ensure SEO best practices are integrated into content production.

Off-Page SEO:

  • Develop and execute link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search engine rankings.
  • Identify and engage with industry influencers, bloggers, and webmasters for guest posting and backlink opportunities.
  • Monitor backlink profiles, manage disavow files, and address any toxic links.
  • Use social media and other channels to promote content and drive external links.

Technical SEO:

  • Conduct technical site audits to identify and resolve issues related to site speed, crawlability, mobile responsiveness, and indexing.
  • Optimize website architecture, internal linking, and URL structure for better SEO performance.
  • Implement and manage SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, and other relevant platforms.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technical SEO developments and apply them to client websites.

Local SEO:

  • Optimize Google My Business (GMB) profiles and ensure consistency of NAP (Name, Address, Phone number) across all local directories.
  • Develop strategies to enhance local search visibility and improve local search rankings.
  • Manage and respond to online reviews and ensure positive brand representation.

Client Communication and Reporting:

  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients regarding SEO-related queries and updates.
  • Prepare and present detailed SEO reports, including progress, results, and recommendations, to clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Work closely with account managers to ensure client satisfaction and retention.

Team Leadership and Management:

  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of SEO specialists.
  • Stay updated with the latest SEO trends and algorithm changes and educate the team on best practices.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of proven experience in SEO, including on-page, off-page, technical, and local SEO.
  • Previous experience in a team lead or management role within an SEO or digital marketing team.
  • Proficient in SEO tools such as Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMrush, Ahrefs, Moz, and Screaming Frog.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively under pressure.
