Data Scientist for Generative AI Applications

Job Description:

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Data Scientist to support the development of Generative AI applications. The role involves creating and refining datasets, conducting exploratory data analysis, and integrating diverse datasets for AI applications. This position is ideal for individuals early in their data science journey who are eager to grow their skills in data science and AI.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Data Integration: Integrate existing datasets to create a comprehensive data foundation.
  • Data Analysis and Profiling: Conduct in-depth exploratory data analysis to understand data characteristics and identify patterns.
  • Synthetic Data Generation: Develop and implement techniques to generate synthetic data that accurately mimics real-world data distributions.
  • Data Preparation: Clean, preprocess, and transform data into suitable formats for Generative AI model training.
  • Data Augmentation: Apply appropriate techniques to expand and diversify the dataset.
  • User Profile Creation: Utilise synthetic and existing data to construct comprehensive and realistic user profiles.


Required Skills and Experience:

  • Solid foundation in statistics and data analysis.
  • Experience in data cleaning, preprocessing, and exploration.
  • Strong programming proficiency in Python or similar languages.
  • Familiarity with synthetic data generation and data augmentation techniques.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform complex data manipulations.


Nice-to-have Qualifications:

  • Experience with synthetic data generation tools and libraries (e.g., Synthetic Data Vault, SDV, Mostly AI, Gretel AI).
  • Experience with AI agent frameworks (e.g., CrewAI).
