JOB SUMMARY:
Oversees multiple store locations, driving sales growth and ensuring operational excellence. Key responsibilities include developing sales strategies, managing store teams, analysing sales data, and maintaining brand standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial:
- Manage budgeting and forecasting for the area, ensuring financial targets are met.
- Planning at “Gender” “Product Category” “Product Subcategory” level detailing.
- Analyse sales data and trends, providing actionable insights to develop and implement sales strategies to drive performance and increase revenue across all stores.
Space:
- Oversee multiple retail store locations within the designated area, ensuring all stores meet sales targets and operational standards.
- Planning for new stores in assigned geography.
People:
- Recruit, train, and mentor store managers to foster strong leadership and customer-centric service and ensure all stores adhere to brand guidelines, visual merchandising standards, and promotional strategies.
- Monitor competitor activities and market trends to stay ahead and maintain a competitive edge.
- Merchandise, VM & Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing and merchandising teams to enhance the customer experience and optimize product displays.
Operational Roles:
- Address operational issues, escalate matters when necessary, and ensure compliance with company policies.
- Responsible for preparing work schedules, conducting regular site visits, and coordinating with various stakeholders, including the VM, Design team, Franchise, BD team, and Ops team.
Strategic abilities:
- Must be able to identify and control all variables which lead to delivery of business plan and sustainable growth for every year
- System driven
- The person should be able to independently prepare a 5 years’ business plan for the assigned geography.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 years of experience in sales management, preferably in retail or FMCG.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to analyse data, create strategies, and drive implementation.
- Willingness to travel across the area to manage store operations.
