With multiple in-house quarries, state-of-the-art facilities, and access to some of the most exclusive quarries in India, Stonestry specializes in sourcing, designing, and delivering premium-quality quartzitic sandstone, limestone, basalt, marble, schist, slate, and granite.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for the Indian market.Lead a team of Regional Sales Managers, Area Sales Managers, and Sales Executives by providing guidance, support, and training to ensure their success.Set sales targets and goals for the team and monitor performance on a regular basis.Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, including architects, contractors, and retailers.Identify and pursue new business opportunities, establish partnerships, and expand the customer base.Conduct market research and analysis to stay updated on industry trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.Collaborate closely with marketing and product development teams to align sales strategies with overall business objectives.Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, showcasing the benefits and features of Stonestry’s natural stone products.Attend industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote products and strengthen industry networks.Ensure effective communication and coordination within the sales team and with cross-functional departments.Manage the entire sales lifecycle, including lead generation, negotiation, sales closure, collections, and supply coordination.Provide regular and structured reports to senior management on sales performance, including sales volume, potential pipeline, market trends, competitor activities, and client base expansion opportunities.RequirementsProven sales management experience in the building materials industry (natural stone experience preferred).Strong track record of achieving sales targets and driving sustainable business growth.Excellent leadership capabilities with the ability to inspire, motivate, and scale high-performing sales teams.Strong knowledge of the Indian market and customer dynamics within the building materials sector.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.Strong analytical mindset with the ability to interpret market data, identify trends, and make strategic recommendations.Proficiency in CRM systems and sales-related tools.Willingness to travel extensively to meet clients and attend industry engagements.
