Role Description:

This is a full-time on-site role for a Quality Assurance Manager based in Hyderabad at Deccan Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for overseeing quality control operations, developing quality assurance processes, conducting audits, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Additionally, they will lead a team of quality assurance professionals and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.


Qualifications:

  • Understanding Rubber / Polymer technology , testing of Silicone Composite insulator ( or related product), injection molding process , inspection of molds will be an added advantage.
  • Hands on in using Six Sigma tools like RCA, FMEA, Cause effect diagram 
  • Basic understating of Data Analytics , exposure to data visualization and data driven decision making
  • Proficiency in advance XL , MS office application is must.
  • 5. Hands on handing basic lab equipment's ( both mechanical and electrical) used in manufacturing set up is must.  
  • 8 to 10 years experience in a relevant field preferably from Power Equipment Industry / Polymer Insulators.
  • Proven experience in quality assurance within the plastics / Rubber manufacturing industry with a focus on injection molding processes.
  • Strong knowledge of quality management systems, quality control methodologies, and relevant regulatory requirements. 
  • Experience in leading and managing a team of quality assurance professionals.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams. 
  • Proficiency in using quality management tools. 
  • Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies, Quality assurance certifications are desirable.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures in line with industry standards and best practices as per customer specifications. 
  • Establish and maintain quality control processes to ensure product consistency, reliability, and compliance with specifications. 
  • Monitor and evaluate production processes to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. 
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to assess compliance with quality standards and regulatory requirements. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement IMS standards and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and mentor the quality assurance team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure a high level of performance. 
  • Investigate customer complaints or quality issues, identify root causes, and implement appropriate corrective actions. 
  • Maintain and update quality documentation, including standard operating procedures, work instructions, and quality records, and ensure final customer inspections and acceptance. 
  • Ensure effective communication of quality-related information to relevant stakeholders both internally and externally. 
  • Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and technological advancements related to quality assurance in the polymer insulator manufacturing industry.
