Quality Assurance Manager

Responsibilities will include:-Problem Solving:Proactively identify and analyze complex technical challenges related to software quality and relevant business deliveries.Develop and implement innovative solutions to improve testing processes and efficiency. * Analyze test results, identify root causes of defects, and collaborate with development teams to resolve issues.Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and best practices in software testing.
People ManagementBuild, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of QA engineers.Foster a collaborative and positive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.Conduct performance reviews, provide constructive feedback, and identify training and development opportunities for team members.Delegate tasks effectively and empower team members to take ownership.
To succeed in the roleImpactQuality Assurance Strategy: Define and implement a comprehensive QA strategy aligned with business goals and industry best practices.Test Automation: Drive the development and implementation of automated testing frameworks to improve test coverage and efficiency.Team Leadership: Build and manage a high-performing QA team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize QA processes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.Stakeholder Management: Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product management, development, and operations.Product Quality: Ensure the delivery of high-quality software products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
Skills & know-howDeep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), software testing life cycles (STLC) and Agile methodologies.Extensive experience in various testing methodologies, including black-box, white-box, gray-box, functional, regression and nonfunctional testing.Strong knowledge in OOPS and JAVA.Strong knowledge of test automation frameworks and tools (e.g., Rest Assured, BDD, Selenium, Appium, playwright, JMeter).Experience with CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.Ability to create manage and own testing environmentsFamiliarity with different databases, and cloud platforms.Ability to define, write and review testing scope, test cases, and bug reports.Understanding of Devops processes, Cloud infra management would be a plus.
Qualification & ExperienceBachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.8+ years of experience in software quality assurance.2+ years of experience managing a team of QA engineers.
