Quality Assurance Manager

About the Role:
This is a dynamic opportunity for a Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at ALPLA India Private Ltd. as a Senior Executive responsible for the establishment, maintenance, and continual improvement of our Integrated Management System (IMS) across the plant.
As a key member of our Quality Assurance Department, you will be instrumental in ensuring the effectiveness of IMS in line with ISO 9001:2015 and FSSC 22000:2018 standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain a robust IMS framework that aligns with organizational objectives.
- Develop and implement training programs for plant teams to ensure effective IMS implementation and evaluation.
- Ensure site SOPs are aligned with IMS requirements and QMS tools.
- Update FSMS trackers, report outages, and review in MRM.
- Develop IMS second-line support to ensure regular reviews and compliance.
- Periodically review the effectiveness of applicable standards, customer requirements, and statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and implement robust contamination prevention and pest control management programs.
- Control documents through QDMS and list management.
- Organize SOP deployment and review of records for correctness and completeness.
- Help teams close gaps in line with GDP and data integrity requirements.
- Finalize MRM calendars, organize meetings, capture action points, and coordinate with process owners to close actions.
- Circulate MRM points to stakeholders and participate in periodic reviews by Regional Quality.
- Ensure timely updates and closure of actionable points.
- Review the effectiveness of actions taken and update records.
- Respond promptly to customer complaints.
- Organize and participate in brainstorming sessions, help teams for interim actions, and submit CAPAs to customers on time.
- Conduct quarterly reviews, summarize implemented actions, and organize internal audits and AEA.
- Coordinate with departments to close audit open points and conduct supplier audits.
- Participate in risk analysis and update quality, food safety, health, and safety-related documents.
- Initiate and assess change controls related to Quality Assurance Department or audit observations.
- Track and follow up on overdue change controls.
Requirements:
We seek a candidate with 8-10 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a technical or diploma background and experience in the plastics industry.
Good communication skills, with reasonable proficiency in English speaking and writing, are essential.
