Overview:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Bench Sales Recruiter with a proven track record in the IT staffing industry. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of experience in bench sales, specifically working with IT consultants, and possess a strong network of vendor contacts, clients, and hiring managers. This role involves managing the recruitment and placement of IT consultants on projects, maximizing bench utilization, and maintaining key client and vendor relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Bench Sales and Marketing:
  • Actively market and place bench consultants, including software engineers, developers, analysts, and other IT professionals, to staffing partners, end clients, and direct clients.
  • Develop marketing strategies tailored to each consultant’s skills to improve placement success.
  • Leverage job boards, , and established networks to identify and reach out to potential clients.
  1. Vendor and Client Relations:
  • Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and implementation partners.
  • Engage in regular communication with vendors and clients to understand their needs and offer suitable candidates.
  • Negotiate contract terms, bill rates, and conditions with clients and vendors, ensuring optimal terms for both consultants and the company.
  1. Consultant Management and Support:
  • Regularly update bench consultants on potential opportunities and support them through the interview and onboarding process.
  • Prepare consultants for client interviews by providing relevant information and coaching on presentation skills.
  • Ensure smooth onboarding and compliance with client requirements and company policies.
  1. Networking and Lead Generation:
  • Utilize personal networks and participate in industry events to generate new leads and maintain awareness of market trends.
  • Actively grow the company's client base through referrals, social media engagement, and targeted outreach efforts.
  1. Documentation and Reporting:
  • Maintain accurate records of interactions with consultants, clients, and vendors.
  • Generate and submit regular reports on sales activities, bench status, and market trends to senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies and relevant regulations.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum 3+ years in bench sales and IT staffing, with a solid understanding of the US staffing market.
  • Industry Knowledge: Comprehensive knowledge of IT and software development roles, and familiarity with contract types (W2, C2C, 1099) and work authorization (OPT, H1B, GC, USC).
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to negotiate rates and contract terms.
  • Technical Savvy: Proficiency in job portals (Dice, Monster, Indeed), Recruiter, and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Networking and Relationship-Building: Strong existing network of client and vendor relationships within the IT staffing industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Ability to analyse market trends and develop strategies to improve placement ratios.

Education and Preferred Qualifications:                                                                                 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, IT, or a related field.
  • Recruitment certifications or training in sales and negotiation is a plus.
  • Previous experience working with immigration laws and visa regulations is advantageous.
