Responsibilities:

  • Own the overall application architecture and ensure high scalability and resilience for high-traffic applications (1 million+ daily users).
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to guarantee that the optimal solution design is achieved for each of the newly developed features.
  • Collaborate with product and design teams to ideate, finalize requirements, implement features, and conduct experiments on the product.
  • Work on bench-marking different technology options with underlying use cases to make the right architectural decisions.
  • Perform intermittent code reviews to ensure high production code quality.
  • Understand and contribute to the product roadmap.
  • Set up best practices for development and champion their adoption.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to reporting engineers to optimize team productivity and engineers' professional development.


Requirements:

  • Have a good understanding of impact measurement and be able to use it to maximize impact on the business.
  • 8+ years of strong hands-on development experience in web technologies.
  • 5+ years of solid experience on JavaScript-based stacks (React, Node, Typescript, etc. ).
  • 3+ years of solid experience in designing architecture.
  • 3+ years of experience managing teams and people.
  • 3+ years of experience owning and operating high-volume production applications.
  • Strong expertise in cloud architecture, deployment, and optimization (GCP / AWS).
  • Strong hold on database technologies (Mongo, Elastic, etc. ).
  • Good experience with cloud technologies and micro frontend architecture.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Solid hold on data structures and algorithms.
  • Strong knowledge of design patterns and their applications.
  • Strong affinity for producing highly optimal and production-quality code.
  • A technologist at heart and is passionate about the latest technological developments.
  • A good contribution to any of the open-source projects will be a great plus.
  • Experience working in the AI/ML domain is a plus.
