Position Overview :

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong expertise in Linux, Networking, and Performance Testing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality, scalability, and reliability of our products through meticulous testing processes, debugging, and cross-team collaboration. This role will involve functional and non-functional testing, performance analysis, and occasional onsite customer engagement.

Key Responsibilities :

Test Strategy & Execution :


- Design, maintain, and execute test strategies, test cases, and test plans for functional and non-functional testing.

- Develop detailed test documentation, bug reports, and defect tracking processes.

Performance Testing & Analysis :


- Perform load, stress, and endurance testing to assess system performance under varied conditions.

- Conduct API performance validation to ensure optimal request handling and response times.

- Integrate Selenium scripts for load testing to enhance performance benchmarks.

- Analyze performance results, identify bottlenecks, and work with DevOps and Development teams for resolution.

Production & Deployment Support :


- Debug production issues and support critical releases/deployments.

- Monitor application behavior in staging and production using real-time logs and performance metrics.

- Provide actionable insights for capacity planning based on test results.

Collaboration :


- Work closely with Development, DevOps, and Product Management teams.

- Participate in defining performance benchmarks and acceptance criteria.

- Travel onsite (as required) for customer issue resolution and deployment assistance.

Required Skills & Qualifications :

Educational Background : Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Technical Skills :


- Strong understanding of Linux systems and networking fundamentals (mandatory).

- Hands-on experience with manual testing, API testing, and performance testing tools.

- Proficiency with Selenium, JMeter, or similar automation/performance testing frameworks.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools, real-time log analysis, and capacity planning.

Soft Skills :


- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Excellent written and verbal communication for cross-functional collaboration.

- Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
