Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Flexcube Application Support Specialist to provide technical support, troubleshoot issues, and optimize the performance of the Flexcube platform and its related modules. The ideal candidate should possess expertise in Unix commands, scripting, database concepts, application server administration, and file transmission tools. You will be responsible for ensuring the stability and availability of critical applications and working closely with cross-functional teams to resolve incidents, support deployments, and enhance application performance.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Flexcube Platform Support :

- Provide technical support and troubleshooting for Flexcube and related modules, addressing issues promptly to ensure minimal downtime and disruption.

- Work with internal teams and vendors to resolve Flexcube application issues and implement updates or changes as required.

2. System Administration and Scripting :

- Use Unix commands and scripting to monitor, automate, and resolve system-related tasks.

- Perform system health checks, scripting for task automation, and issue diagnosis to enhance system efficiency.

3. Database Management :

- Utilize SQL and database concepts to run queries, diagnose issues, and support data integrity and performance optimization of Flexcube applications.

- Collaborate with database administrators to resolve issues and improve database performance.

4. Job Scheduling and Automation :

- Manage job scheduling and automation using Autosys, ensuring timely execution and troubleshooting job failures or errors.

5. SSL and Security :

- Support SSL certificate installations, renewals, and troubleshoot SSL-related issues to ensure secure communication between applications and services.

Additional Responsibilities (as per Skill Set-2) :

1. Application Server Support :

- Provide support for application servers such as WebSphere, WebLogic, or Tomcat, performing issue troubleshooting, configurations, and deployments.

- Ensure smooth functioning and optimal performance of application servers hosting Flexcube or related services.

Good to Have (Preferred Skills) :

1. Application Deployment and Troubleshooting : Experience with application deployment processes, including managing and resolving deployment-related issues to minimize downtime and ensure seamless delivery.

2. Monitoring Tools : Experience with monitoring tools such as ITRS, AppDynamics, or Splunk for tracking application performance, diagnosing issues, and proactive alert management.

3. File Transmission Tools : Familiarity with NDM, FTP, SFTP, or other file transmission tools for managing secure file transfers and troubleshooting issues as they arise.

4. Messaging Services : Knowledge and experience with messaging tools like MQ or Kafka for support-level troubleshooting and performance monitoring.

Qualifications :

Technical Skills :

- Expertise in Flexcube application support and troubleshooting.

- Proficiency in Unix commands and scripting languages (e.g., Shell scripting).

- Strong understanding of database concepts and proficiency in SQL.

- Experience with job scheduling tools (e.g., Autosys) and SSL/TLS configurations.

- Experience with at least one application server (WebSphere, WebLogic, or Tomcat) and related troubleshooting.

Soft Skills :

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.

- Effective communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.

- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues, and work in a fast-paced environment.

- Detail-oriented approach with a focus on ensuring high availability and performance.

Educational Background : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience in application deployment and maintenance processes.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as ITRS, AppDynamics, or Splunk.

- Knowledge of file transfer protocols and messaging services like NDM/FTP/SFTP and MQ/Kafka.

Skill Set - 2 :

- MQ/Kafka - Messaging exp at support level
