Job Summary

We are seeking a Pre-Sales Solutions Consultant to play a key role in developing high-quality proposals for government and commercial clients. The ideal candidate will have experience translating technical concepts into compelling, well-structured proposals that align with client requirements and industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities
  • Research, write, edit, and format responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Information (RFIs), and other government and commercial solicitations.
  • Collaborate with technical teams, SMEs, and leadership to develop clear and persuasive proposal content.
  • Interpret complex technical concepts and translate them into concise, reader-friendly language.
  • Ensure all proposals meet compliance and submission requirements, including formatting, structure, and style guidelines.
  • Maintain a library of reusable content, templates, and best practices for future proposals.
  • Conduct competitive analysis and research to enhance proposal strategies.
  • Manage multiple deadlines and coordinate inputs from various stakeholders.
  • Proofread and edited proposal content for clarity, accuracy, and consistency.
  • Support the development of marketing materials, whitepapers, and other technical documentation as needed.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Technical Writing, Business, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in technical writing and proposal writing in the software or IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of government contracting and commercial proposal development processes.
  • Excellent writing, editing, and communication skills, with a strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with technical teams and translate technical jargon into customer-friendly language.
  • Experience managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and proposal management tools.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies, cloud computing, cybersecurity, or software development is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • APMP certification.
  • Experience working on proposals for federal agencies, defense contracts, or Fortune 500 companies.
