Who You Are:

You are an experienced SCM professional with a sharp focus on US & global sourcing and strategic vendor management. Your expertise lies in ensuring seamless procurement operations across multiple categories, from raw materials to consumables, while consistently driving cost optimization and risk mitigation.


How You Contribute:

  1. Spearhead global sourcing initiatives for a wide array of materials, including APIs, excipients, solvents, clinical and analytical supplies, capital equipment, and production consumables.
  2. Handle procurement for both greenfield (new facility) and brownfield (expansion and retrofitting) projects, ensuring optimal materials and services are sourced to meet the specific needs of each type of project.
  3. Lead efforts in strategic and tactical sourcing, supplier selection, rating, and consolidation, driving cost reduction and mitigating supply risks through alternate sourcing strategies.
  4. Negotiate & execute supply agreements and conduct financial and market analysis to support procurement decisions.
  5. Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams (CFT), senior leadership, and suppliers to ensure procurement processes align with organizational objectives, delivering operational excellence.
  6. Implement supply continuity plans, manage supplier relationships, and ensure the timely delivery of materials by coordinating with logistics and supply chain teams.
  7. Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier qualification, inventory control, demand and supply planning, and vendor management.
  8. Lead planning and forecasting efforts, ensuring accurate inputs for sales and operations planning (S&OP) and maintaining inventory control through quarterly and annual projections.
  9. Optimize logistics operations by securing cost-effective transport solutions and ensuring smooth material deliveries.
  10. Provide comprehensive procurement reports and insights through regular MIS tracking, presenting strategic outcomes to stakeholders.



What You Bring to the Team:

  • Proven ability to optimize procurement processes and drive cost-saving initiatives.
  • Strong negotiation and vendor management skills with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • 18-20 Years of experience in the similar role.
