Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Policy and State Government Associate to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7-9 years of experience in either project management at a political/government consulting firm or policy experience in an e-commerce enterprise. This individual will play a crucial role in shaping and executing our policy strategies at the state and central government levels, ensuring compliance and fostering positive relationships with key stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

Project Management:

- Monitor and track developments at both state and central government levels sourcing updates from local resources.

- Assist in drafting and reviewing reports, proposals and presentations for state governments and relevant departments.

- Coordinate with the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) on relevant developments.

- Serve as the primary point of contact and coordinator for activities related to states and central government bodies, summarize and organize data and other inputs for reporting to senior stakeholders.

- Attend meetings with relevant government departments to discuss initiatives.

- Develop and maintain a scorecard to track policy outcomes and performance indicators.

- Collaborate with the government business team to ensure alignment and update to MD team of progress regularly.

- Coordinate inter-functionally to ensure maximum impact in role.

State Coordination:

- Grow business and impact-based relationships with assigned States.

- Stay connected with local stakeholders including nodal and department officers.

- Create a strategy for growth of network based KPIs - seller density, transactions etc. in the localized geography.

- Bring new Network Participants, brands and customers to the network in assigned states.

- Coordinate with Network Participants and Category Leads for business growth in assigned states.

- Travel for meetings and workshops organized in assigned states.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Political Science, Public Policy, or related field.

- Minimum of 7-9 years of experience in project management, political/government consulting, or policy development within the e-commerce sector.

- Understanding of state and central government structure.

- Excellent proficiency of English as business language - Written & Verbal

- Good understanding of Hindi language

- Very strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to circumvent, multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.

- Proficiency in data analysis and report writing.

- Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.

- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint & Excel) & G Suite applications
